“I freely chose to review this book as I wanted to know what happened next, as I liked that Ms. Wiesner chose to let readers know what happened to all the Shaussegeny family's as more parents, siblings and mates united. For ten generations evil appeared in Woodcutter's Grim and all of the townsfolk kept their distance from the woods and the family, but Lance chose to flee and get as far away as possible from his destiny and he found his mate, but would she come to him or was he doomed to suffer? In the end he had to return and embrace the curse as he dared not stay with his mate for fear he would hurt her or others and let their secret be revealed to the world.. From fighting a Sea Witch in the lake to fighting for their chosen mates, the family endures the pain and death to claim their mates I loved that Ransom tried to find a cure for his family and chose not to give in to the evil curse, but will the family have the curse removed from them all or is Ransom doomed to fail? I truly hope that the story continues as I fell in love with the whole family!!
