“5.0 out of 5 stars I couldn't put it down
I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. You never knew what was going to happen next. The characters were very interesting and believable. The authors description of locations made you feel like you were there in the thick of the action. It's an exciting and easy read that anyone could enjoy. Can't wait to discover more of this authors work! =:0)
Hot Little DJ, Amazon Review ”
One photograph. One crime boss. One woman running for her life.
Jill Hathaway never expected her camera to capture a murder.
As a freelance equestrian photographer, forty-five-year-old Jill finds purpose in documenting the elegance of dressage competition. But when her lens accidentally records a deadly secret at a Wisconsin show, three dangerous strangers come demanding her film—not realising her equipment is digital.
Within hours, Jill's world implodes. A championship rider dies mysteriously. Her beloved niece is brutally murdered. Her home is burned to the ground. Framed for arson and hunted by a ruthless crime syndicate that leaves no witnesses alive, Jill has no choice but to disappear.
Hidden in the remote Wisconsin north woods with only a state detective to protect her, Jill must survive long enough for justice to catch up with a man who believes himself untouchable. But as autumn closes in and the noose tightens, she discovers that staying alive may require trusting the most unlikely of allies.
In the refined world of competitive dressage, beauty masks danger—and one wrong move means death.
